Why next-day is not promised on everything
If a part cannot be printed twice before your deadline, there is no recovery margin, and we say so instead of hoping. A seven-hour print for tomorrow usually qualifies. An eighteen-hour one does not.
Why the date holds when it is accepted
Rush is never sold out of capacity already promised to standard jobs. That is why it is limited, and why it holds.
The suburbs are not the city
The other local shops are in Des Plaines and on the far north side. The nationals are five to ten days away by carrier.
Bring the broken one
No model needed. A photo with a ruler next to it, or the part itself, is a normal way to start.
