We don't own a mill. We own the outcome.
Metal, or tolerances tighter than additive holds, goes out to a machine shop we select, then gets measured here against your drawing before it reaches you.
What actually happens
- 01
We read the drawing
Datums, true position, surface finish, tolerance stack. The step where brokered machining usually goes wrong.
- 02
It goes to a shop that fits it
You are told which shop and what they quoted us. The markup is disclosed, not buried.
- 03
It comes back here first
Mitutoyo calipers on the features your drawing calls out, compared to the print.
- 04
You get the part and the numbers
What we measured, on which features. If something is out, it goes back before it reaches you.
What “inspected” means here
It means
Calipers on the features your drawing marks critical, by an engineer who can read the drawing, with the numbers written down and handed to you.
It does not mean
- A CMM report. There is no CMM here.
- Micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges or surface-finish checks.
- First Article Inspection or a Certificate of Conformance.
- Material traceability or heat-lot documentation.
- An ISO quality system.
If your part needs any of that, we say so in the first reply.
$1,000 minimum, 30% disclosed
You see what the shop quoted us and what we added. The 30% covers reading the drawing, choosing the shop, chasing the job, measuring it, and owning it if it is wrong.
Under $1,000 the inspection costs more than the margin, so we point you straight at a shop instead. That referral is free.
